After my school-leaving examination, medical studies at the University of Graz and Medical University of Vienna. Awarded doctorate in medicine at the Medical University of Vienna in March 2004.
Teaching practice and medical resident at Unfallkrankenhaus Meidling.
Start of my specialist training in respiratory medicine at Otto-Wagner-Spital (Klinik Penzing) in March 2007, 2nd Internal Respiratory Department, chief physician Dr. Norbert Vetter, and 1st Internal Respiratory Department, chief physician Prof. Dr. Otto C. Burghuber. Respiratory medicine training with chief physician assoc. Prof. Dr. Sylvia Hartl at the Respiratory Care Unit, Otto-Wagner-Spital (Klinik Penzing). My further training departments included the Children’s Respiratory OPD at Wilhelminenspital (Klinik Ottakring), Department of Cardiology at Kaiserin-Elisabeth-Spital as well as the Interdisciplinary Center of Sleep Medicine at Charité, Berlin.
I have been a specialist in respiratory medicine since May 2013, and I have headed the Institute of Clinical Respiratory Physiology and Respiratory OPD at the Rudolfstiftung hospital (Klinik Landstraße) in Vienna since May 2014.
Regular participation in national and international congresses as well as publications both in Austria and at international congresses. Since 2006, I have been giving lectures for NGOs, at advanced training courses, symposiums and congresses in Austria and internationally on a regular basis. Teaching activity at the Medical University of Vienna from 2007 to 2009; Teacher at Kaiserin-Elisabeth-Spital’s General Nursing School. Regular publication of articles in medical journals and patient magazines.
My private medical practice opened in October 2013.
